We help schools develop strong leadership to achieve high academic outcomes and establish behaviors and expectations for their individual schools.

EDceptional brings together charter school board members and leaders to inspire and support efforts to strengthen the sector and improve educational outcomes for students. Through training and knowledge sharing, we’re helping board members deepen their understanding of the sector, their role and how to impact school outcomes.

Specific efforts have been made to:

  • Develop a pipeline of potential new board members

  • Create videos to assist schools with on-boarding new board members

  • Coordinate board training through proven national resources

  • Identify tools, best practices and reporting vehicles to help boards and school leaders monitor school data to keep on track of academic goals

  • Prompt important conversations that develop a shared understanding and enthusiasm for collaboration, while increasing visibility for the sector
